Book Review: The Fault In Our Stars

Due to TFIOS being made into a movie, many people have been craving to get their paws on this John Green book, but is it really worth reading?

The answer is YES! Here's a quick summary, and Don't worry, no spoilers. This story is narrorated by young 16 year old Hazel Grace, who is suffering from lung cancer. When her parents force her to go to a support group, she finds her path intertwined with the charming amputee Augustus Waters.

The book labeled for adults, but I find it a great tale of love for maybe 7th and up. There is a bit of an explicit scene, but it's fast and nothing descriptive, so I find with a younger audience it's really no harm.

I read this book in a day, it's short, but your sure to remember it. John Green does an excellent job of making you feel like you know the characters as you sit along side them going through the ups and downs of their lives. It really makes you think about your life, as you experience the many emotions the characters to through. I find the ending so emotional because of how realistic this story is, and how there isn't flying cars, or unicorns, just normal love, well under the circumstances. I give this book a five out of five, it is one of the best books I've ever read, so if you see it make sure to grab it.
